Englishmen take more pride

Andrew Flintoff and Jacques Kallis were awarded the joint Players of the Year at the ICC Awards which was held in Sydney, Australia. Jaques Kallis won the Test Player of the Year Award while Kevin Pieterson's explosive year earned him the ODI Player of the Year Award. Kevin was also awarded the Emerging Player of the Year Award.
England were honoured after their victory over the Aussies in the Ashes as they won the Spirit of Cricket Award.
