Great post about LAMP setup in ubuntu, and this was a big help for me, and i had a problem in phpmyadmin , coz phpmyadmin, was in /usr/share/phpmyadmin so i had to create a symbolic link to phpmyadmin

sudo ln -s /usr/share/phpmyadmin /var/www/phpmyadmin

this thing worked well.
